Personality/Bio: Patchwork is a hardworking and strong unicorn in the apple family. He is confident and outgoing, and does not back down from a challenge. Patchwork is a clothing repairer, and fixes any problems in your attire, whether it be a hole, a stain, a size, he can basically do it all. …He also has a tendency of falling for the wrong mares.

His relationship with his mother is nice, at least.
He and Applejack were like two peas in a pod for a very long time. They’d always spend time together, tell each other their problems, and bake apple treats together, each day Applejack teaching Patchwork a new recipe. After Rarity had arrived, the attention became less apparent, making Patchwork feel both sad and jealous. He now realizes that, though his mother liked spending time with him, she wanted to hang out with her new-found love too. Patchwork considers Applejack a great mother and is grateful she didn’t just simply give up after divorcing with Trenderhoof as it seemed she would.

Patchwork also has a decent relationship with Rarity now that he’s older. They usually spend their time talking about clothing and fashion, and Rarity likes to give him tricks he can use for his career. She tells him faster and more efficient ways of repairing things, and likes that she has someone to talk to about all of this fashion stuff.

He and his little sister are basically inseparable. They love hanging out and doing fun activities together such as: truth or dare, wrestling, apple cider chugging contests, you get the deal. They always do bets for money and Patchwork doesn’t think any less of her just because she is his half-sibling.

Personality/Bio: Zircon is a mare with a very… Sparky attitude. She loves competing against others and is quite confident in whatever she is doing. She is extremely outgoing and loves to start up conversations with new ponies. She likes to go and work-out when she can, but she is always busy with her job. Besides, she guesses that mining is a bit of a work-out too. Though now she is very open and friendly towards any creature, when she was a filly she was quite the contrary. Basically the stereotypical popular blonde bully, Zircon would pick on others who were different. On the inside or out, it didn’t matter. She thought that because they were different, they shouldn’t be with ponies, but she now realizes how wrong she was and she regrets being so mean to all of the different creatures.

Applejack is the best in Zircon’s eyes. She really is a figure to look up to, and every day Zircon tries harder to make mama proud. Applejack sees her younger self in her daughter, and always gives her advice on life in general. She is happy to say Zircon is her daughter, and loves all the work and dedication she puts into things she does. They’ve got each other’s backs, and if either one was in trouble, they’d be at their side in a heartbeat. Zircon has a strong bond with her mother that is likely to never break, and she is happy she has such a kind and supportive mom on her side at all times.

Rarity isn’t as connected to Zircon as Applejack is. Though this does make Rarity feel a little sad, she knows that Zircon loves her too and would do anything for her, and for that, she returns the feelings. They don’t really talk often, as Zircon is busy either with her job or with her other mother, and Rarity is always selling dresses and giving Patchwork tips about the fashion industry.

Eris. Oh, Eris. At first, Zircon hated her and her weird animal parts and scary magic, but after they both shared an emotional and empathetic bond on hearth’s warming eve, Zircon realized she was nothing but a sweetheart. They became friends, then best friends after that. After a while, Zircon started noticing Eris acting more nervous and quiet around her, and being the kind friend she is, wanted to figure out what was wrong. At first, Eris would say she was fine and that nothing was bothering her, but during a girl’s night out, she’d let it slip. Zircon was shocked and even a little confused. Eris had a crush on her! Zircon wouldn’t believe it at first, but she liked Eris too. They got together and are now happily in a relationship with one another.
