Star Shooter is basically the textbook definition of someone who failed to break a cycle of abuse. Growing up on the streets with a cruel, gold-digging bastard of a father, he was never happy, even after he ran away and tried to pave a new path as a royal guard. He grew up to be no better than his father, taking out his constant anger at the world on his wife and children. Shooter is beyond help at this point as he tries to control and manipulate anyone he can exert power over, with hardly any regret or reflection on his actions. It’s best that others just get him out of their lives because they deserve better.

A depressed shell of her former self, Indigo Dreams’ spirit was crushed by her marriage to Star Shooter. Pressured into a relationship by her parents with a stallion who now uses her as his punching bag, Indigo feels utterly powerless and has little hope of escape. However, despite her hopeless situation, Indigo is a loving and selfless mother, willing to protect her children by putting herself in harm’s way or even giving them up for adoption—anything to ensure that they’re safe. She gave up her firstborn for this reason, and while she misses him dearly, he‘ll end up saving her just as much as he did his adoptive mother.

Beryl has been the light of his Mama Marble’s life ever since she found him on her doorstep. A bundle of joy, his infectious smile and positive attitude can cheer up just about anyone who knows him. Especially as a toddler, he seems to have endless energy which can tire out the adults in his life, but it’s a trait that continues into adulthood that makes him great with kids. It’s very hard for him to make enemies as he is caring towards everyone he meets; some might say he’s a little too trusting, but others would say he’s just really empathetic.
