We were talking more about the fans’ reactions about the ending,personally,I prefer the original series “Congratulations!” ending than the Depressing Mindfuck Tang that was End Of Evangelion.

what was wrong with evangelion’s ending? what, did you expect the entire thing to cluminate with some giant robot/alien/post-human battle? did any of you actually pay attention to the story at all? the story really wasn’t about that action shit at all. it was a psychological thriller at its core, and the ending was just that: a huge mind fuck.  
the ending was amazing if you ask me. the entire show was all about shinji and his internal struggles. and the ending was all about shinji and him finally coming to terms with the fact that he actually wants to be around people, that he doesn’t want to be alone, and that everyone should live. all the plans of his father and the government came to fruition, ended the whole world and humanity, and shinji was able to stop it all just because he WANTED to.

Welp,I think we can safely say that Alicorn Twilight is and (hopefully) won’t be any worse that Eva Shitstorms.

People,I think what OP is trying to do here is comparing two shitstorms.
 
I don’t remember much about it,since I wasn’t that much in to anime at the time,but the ending of the original Evangelion apparently caused an uproar of big proportions.

Seeing Twilight as an alicorn is much better than Evangelion period.

With how negatively some people are responding, you’d think it was Third Impact or something.
