Or was it the guy on the bus who’d been attacking protesters with a hammer before he got it taken away from him and stomped? Maybe it was the “old man” who tried (unsuccesfully, because he was too stupid to take the safety off) to shoot a Black guy who was escorting an elderly disabled man away from a crowd of screeching white supremacists? You need to be more clear about which violent racist you’re defending here.
Bitching at people online is anti useful to what you claim to want. Being a raging douchebag toward people only drives them away from you. Nobody has ever changed their minds because they were called mean names on the internet.
Whereas there are numerous detailed records of people who have done exactly what you so sardonically dismiss; and have seen positive results.
Maybe being polite is a slower and less satisfying method than you would prefer, but it is also 100% more effective than your method.
You and people like you want to think that you’re doing a good thing by throwing temper tantrums online and in real life, but all you’re really doing is acting like children.

it is actually, in fact there’s a black man who has converted over 200 white nationalists and got them to turn in their robes by simply talking to them, screaming and insulting people over their ideology has never worked at converting anybody, it just makes you look like a desperate asshole. It’s also why so many progressives are turning away from the left and becoming moderates or republicans, because they actually sit down and have debates and discussions about this stuff in a polite manner rather than getting in people’s faces and screeching about how wrong and immoral they are, then pulling out a crowbar and bashing an old mans head in.

Oh yeah, letting racist asshats go unchallenged is a great plan, it has tons of historical success stories behind it. It’s a well-known Science Fact™ that “being polite to white supremacists” is a very effective method at preventing them from normalizing their ignorant bullshit.
It’s okay to be anti-racist, but being a toxic asshole about it is not.
