Well said, the writing, storyboarding and world-building are what made G4 so exceptional. WMs seems like it will be nothing but exubrance, a flawless world with hollow characters, without lore or compelling stories.

It’s all about execution. Lauren Faust made a well written show from a toy franchise with worldbuilding and great comedy. Even g5 for its flaws at least tried to make a world.
Wild Manes seems like it was made by outside people looking inside thinking only the superficial aspects of pretty horses is enough to make a cartoon.
If these people wanted to copy the vibe of MLP, they should have tried to make great characters and worldbuilding. At least give an introductary episode to get us acquainted like with G4. At least as much you can do in 5 minutes.

Together, they cater to the town’s citizens by serving up drinks and treats before going on adventures to solve their troubles, such as finding missing smoothie ingredients, offering mane makeovers and throwing a surprise birthday party.

I hope this is not a total rip-off. If, just if, this show has solid quality, then the TYT dev team will have more pressure to make better episodes, instead of keep letting ponies yell their catchphrase like PAW Patrol.
