Idiocy, or optimism? Just because I don’t freak out and start pronouncing the show dead because of a small, mostly physical character change doesn’t make me an idiot.  
Meghan said she’d be the same Twilight we know and love, and I believe her.
 
You’re awfully arrogant to act like your opinion of Alicorn Twilight is superior. I don’t think my opinion is any better than anyone else, I just think people shouldn’t freak out so much over it until they see what the writers do with it.

The stubborn idiocy of the support is increasing my personal justification for thinking this is a bad thing.

…are people stupid? We love the characters no matter what happen to them, noone can tell me that Twilight becoming an Alicorn is the worst thing that has ever happened. Fans must adapt like their fave characters, nothing is ever the same forever.

True fans of the show trust the writers and stick with the show no matter what. Alonguy98 couldn’t have said it better.

There’s something that I’ve got to get off my chest that’s been eating at me all day.
 
It looks like there are generalizations being drawn upon both sides of the fence here, at least from everything I’ve seen.
 
Being a dedicated fan of the show, and sticking with it after this episode comes and goes, does not automatically make me a fan of Twilicorn or what it implies.
 
At this point, it’s more the whining and snarkings that each side is taking against one another that is my biggest gripe. This isn’t black and white, and neither side is 100% right or 100% wrong.
 
Wait until the episode, y’all.

Lets not forget the Too Many Pinkie Pies teaser. Notice how one scene was different from the actual episode? In other words, calm down until you watch the season finale. Then decide if you want to complain and quit.

It’s always nice to see level-headed fans. The fact all the negative images about “wingy Twilight” are getting downvoted here on Derpibooru is a good sign that the whiners/complainers are possibly an outspoken minority of the fans/bronies.
