I agree. We should at least see how the whole alicorn thing turns out rather than get angry before the episode airs. Remember Cadence? I didn’t judge her “god status” before the episode airs, and it worked out fine. Maybe there will be something amazing because of Alicorn Twilight.

I’m already giving her a chance, so don’t worry Fluttershy.

Fluttershy is my hero, I don’t understand this drama, what if she actually says no to the alicorn cause shes not ready, then the bronies will feel humiliated, like I knew she would be princess, I’m just afraid she will leave the show, that’s all, but there still is no need to throw a hissy fit, I was surprised, but I was more surprised by how much drama there is to it.

Twilight is already the go to person in Ponyville whenever there’s a REAL issue.
 
and being a princess doesn’t automatically make her royalty. That’s not what being a princess in Equestria means according to Larson. Princesses are just leaders who share their skills with the people.
 
I see it as a form of title. Like being knighted or earning a doctorate

its not the alicorn thing that really bugs me. it seems like sideways evolution to a super-unicorn who can already make wings. its the voodoo shark of her being a princess that irks. is she some duchess of someplace else? then she’ll have to leave ponyville and her friends behind. the fix to this shes princess of ponyville. but now theres the unfortunate implication that a soverign replaced an elected mayor. take her friends and thier families to the new kingdom? we lose all our favorite background ponies. SOMETHING will go wrong. thats not even touching if she’s immortal like celestia. the upside? it’ll make a cool toy.

I agree. I’m a brony through and through so I’ve been trying to keep the whole the love and tolerate thing in my mind, but people are seriously pissing me off. The friggin’ episode hasn’t even aired yet and people are throwing such a whinny fit. Didn’t their parents ever tell them not to say they hate something until they tried it? So far, all three seasons I’ve been happy with the show overall so I am willing to have a little faith in the creative team behind the scenes.

Really, the only thing that’s really crap about Alicorn Twi is the timing. I mean, don’t you usually save this kind of thing for, I dunno, somewhere near a series finale?
