I get the feeling that one of the points of this Alicorn Twilight thing is one or both princesses will be stepping down, at least temporarily.

Also this is probably how Twilight would feel if she were to know the hullabaloo her ascension is causing among those that said they liked her.

From the title, that implies that Twilight is the sole new princess. I wouldn’t be so sure that Celestia will retire… and even if she do, there is still Luna.
