Description
Sorry for the sudden slowdown in art! I’ve had this laying around and decided to finally upload it. Meet the CheesePie kids!
- Squirrel is the oldest of them all. They’re in age order here. She’s the oldest of all the Mane 6’s kids by quite a lot, actually. Cheese and Pinkie were pretty quick to have a kid, but they didn’t have another for quite some time. Because she’s older by about 10-15 years, she didn’t really grow up with any of the other kids, not even her siblings. She was in high school when her younger sister was born, and already in college when Pinkie was pregnant with her next sister. She grew up as Twilight Sparkle’s squire, delivering messages from city to city. Her favorite place to travel is the Crystal Empire, where she gets to pass the time with her best friend Flurry. She’s also well known in the dragonlands, and Dragon Lord Ember looks forward to her visits.
Squirrel is closest to her dad, Cheese Sandwich… Pinkie’s a good mom, but Cheese just really knew her. Her real name is Cupcake, but she’s been called Squirrel ever since she can remember.
- Strawberry Sorbet, usually called Sorbet, is the middle child. She doesn’t go through that middle child phase, since she basically grows up as the oldest sibling considering how far apart she and Squirrel are in age. She’s very chill for being the daughter of Pinkie. She’s known for her approachability and how stress-free she is, living life one step at a time. She’s got the longest muzzle in the family, which she gets from Cheese, and she definitely resembles Pinkie most in the family. She was a very easy kid to deal with growing up, and her parents barely had any troubles with her. Even as a foal, she never cried or complained much at all. She’s quiet but knows how to party if she needs to.
Cookie Butter, who goes by “Kie,” is the youngest, and by far the most rebellious of the three. She is the embodiment of a bisexual icon. She got into way too much trouble growing up, and she still does. She and Sorbet aren’t too far apart in age, maybe by about 5 years, but they’re nothing alike. She’s not just a party person, she’s a pregame, afterparty, and after-afterparty person. Kie really goes all out. Her hair is naturally very curly and fluffy, but she straightens it a lot. Everyone in Ponyville, Canterlot, Las Pegasus… practically everyone knows her, and definitely for the reason you think they do.
Some Notes
- Squirrel is kind of the “trying really hard to be a fun party but people are sneaking out early to go home,” Sorbet is the “chill baby shower party,” and Kie is the “literal life of the party.” Kie is also the wedding crasher. She seems to be at every single event possible…
- Formerly, I had the poly ship of Cheese, Pinkie, and Party Favor, but CheesePie has always been the OTP, yo. I changed it to just the two of them, as much as I enjoyed the former ship! So the three of them were raised by Cheese and Pie. Party Favor isn’t biologically related to them and continues to live in Our Town.
- Cheese’s genes were obviously pretty dominant, except in Sorbet, where he seems to have had no genetic influence. Sorbet probably gets the blue in her mane from Pinkie’s rainbow power, which sort of combines itself into Pinkie’s preexisting DNA. Then again, pony genes are known to be pretty random, as seen by Pinkie herself. She’s a bright pink pony in a family of dull-coated rock farmers.
- Each of the CheesePie kids have an aunt they vibe most closely with. Squirrel and Marble really hit it off. Even though Squirrel’s known to be… pretty “disappointing” for the daughter of Pinkie, she knows how to cheer up Aunt Marble. Sorbet loves Maud. They just share a mutual understanding. Limestone and Kie have this weird relationship where Lime definitely shouldn’t be coming with her to all these afterparties, but definitely is going every single time.
- Sorbet is the tallest, followed by Squirrel. Kie inherited the Pie family gene of unnatural shortness. Usually, Earth Ponies are scarily tall, but that’s an exception for the entirety of the Pie family.
- Sorbet and Cookie are actually pretty close. Sure, they’re vastly different and have basically opposite personalities, but they’re still siblings. Actually, Sorbet’s chill, unbothered nature complements Kie’s rebellious one very nicely. Sorbet puts a lot of trust into her, which Kie really appreciates. She always promises Sorbet that she’ll never get hurt, and even if she does get into a lot of trouble sometimes, she upholds her promise to her big sis. She’s never gotten physically hurt. Well… not yet.
- Squirrel might be the oldest of the Mane 6’s kids, but she’s third oldest out of all the NextGen kids. Panther is the oldest, followed by Flurry, then Squirrel.
- Updated Squirrel’s design! I just changed her mane a little bit.
