I’m not apologizing for THIS comic, I’m apologizing for the previous (now deleted) comic. It was far more cynical and pessimistic, and it had Twilight denouncing Pinkie’s “Giggle at the Ghosties” philosophy as wrong and harmful. Hence why this comic is built on the premise of “Twilight was wrong, and Sunset is explaning why”.

I was tired. I was stressed. I wasn’t thinking straight.
 
I didn’t mean what I said before.
 
There’s nothing wrong with making jokes about the virus. It shows that you are not afraid. It shows that you still have hope. It shows that you have a powerful weapon to brave these dark times.
 
It shows you have faith.
 
It was wrong of me to say otherwise.
 
So: giggle at the ghosties. Giggle as the ghosties as much ass you can. Show that you are not afraid. Show that you didn’t lose hope.
