When I think about the recent outbreak and all these phone numbers you can call to ask questions and the long hours nurses talk about, I can’t help but wonder how much they have to put up with from the masses; information and panic that could’ve been easily solved with a 2-min Internet search (or just education in general.)
Seriously, there have been dozens of deaths from alcohol poisoning under belief it’ll protect you; some people are bathing and drinking bleach. Which draws healthcare workers to run around and put out these secondary fires.

Meanwhile the Chinese government is pushing for its own pseudomedicine for global adoption.
That was Iran. And it was fraud on the same order as the U.S. scammers’ bleach cure. Once the rumor spread that alcohol kills the virus bootleggers quickly produced fake booze using methanol. And then they added bleach to it to disguise the color of the methyl alcohol. Hundreds of people were hospitalized from drinking that concoction.

One place can’t exactly remember, 44 deaths in one day from people dying of alcohol poisoning because they believed a rumor it would protect them.
One guy with over a hundred thousand followers on YouTube told people that drinking a bleach concoction will make you immune. Some people have also tried bathing in bleach and other hard chemicals, as several sites are having to put up warnings to the public about rumors.
Humanity is really no different from when a majority believed the earth was flat.
