and somehow only 3 of them were items that were possessed by Equestrian Magic, while only 2 were long-lost artifacts of Equestria. They should add one more long-lost equestrian artifact to even it out.
It all makes sense…Except for the one with the storm king’s magic.
The Memory Stone messes with the memories of anyone it’s user wanted, which alters their minds in believing something or someone wouldn’t exist. This makes sense for it to be reminiscent of the Mind Stone, as that too can alter one’s mind.
The Time Twirler can send ones back in time within a certain point in the timeline, or rewind time for a certain amount. that’s also what the Time Stone does, doesn’t it?
The Mirror makes sense for it to be reminiscent of the Space Stone, as it has powers to send others anywhere, like how the Tesseract sent Red Skull to Vormir. The Mirror sent the Main Six and Sunset to a white void. But wait a minute, you say, didn’t Vignette’s Cell Phone also send the girls and others to a white void too?
No, It sent them to a random white room within the theme park, and no that wasn’t sarcasm. However, the Cell Phone DID create holographic copies of the Main Six and Sunset. Dunno how that is reminiscent of the Reality stone, but i’ll take it.
and the Watering Can makes sense as a Soul Stone, as obviously it makes the flowers and plants come to life as if they actually DO have a soul.
But the storm king’s magic being for Power…doesn’t make sense to me for some reason.

This seems to be limited to only magical objects/artifacts seen in the Equestria Girls world. Storm King’s staff counts because it ended up in the EqG world.

That wasn’t his staff. That was his magic.

Alright.
Pretty much.
