If people had made the case that FDR couldn’t be president because he was bound to a wheelchair, it would indeed have made a better comparison. Perhaps it was something I should have investigated more.

Some folks tend to downplay the fact he is bi-racial. Hell, it’s the only term that is NOT used by his detractors while socialist, Muslim, black, communist, native African and the like was said multiple of times…

I am legitimately curious to see how they will explain how a trivial physical difference makes someone better suited to a position of leadership. I don’t doubt they will come up with something, but it still amuses me to think about.
