Well…. toddlers can go through a stage of hitting or biting if they feel frustrated or need more attention - and that day I was too busy to look after him.
 
Cadance later told me it looked bad - there was a lot of blood and I fainted. Of course Shiny was scared. I was scared. So was Spike… Luckily, Cadance and Spike are really good friends and she was there for him.
