im rlly not feeling motivated today, managed a few doodles but eh. that kinda happens often - ill do a couple of drawings for a dump or ref sheet, but then never finish the rest of them, and then the drawings get abandoned. so theyre all compiled here lmao for now. some of these are from today, others have buit up over the course of like the last year. kinda half baked and lazy but thats kinda my thing lmao
 

 
1.) i was gonna do a full muffins headcanon and then lost steam, so a few mini things  
has a physical disability - her impaired vision. finds it difficult to navigate while flying.  
many ponies mistake this visual impairment and clumsiness for being stupid, but she is definitely not. she’s a smart gorl, academic, top of her class in high school - all set and ready to go off to one of Equestria’s highest esteemed universities.  
but unfortunately, just as she was ready to head off, she was pregnant. she refused to tell anyone who the other parent was, and instead of following her academic abilities, stayed in ponyville to raise her child (ditzy doo).  
fast forward to present day, or at least like, show canon-day, and muffins is working hard as ponyville’s resident mail mare. She’s also married to Time Turner, who she loves to discuss various academic subjects with in detail. He’s also some kind of father figure to muffin’s daughter, ditzy.  
also, now with her daughter slightly older, and with a steady income (both from her job and from time turners scientific work), ditzy is finally able to pursue her academia again by online classes. it’s not the esteemed universities she was aiming for as a teen, but its still academia, and she’s so happy to be doing it again. She has a big interest in physics/mechanical engineering, just like her husband.
 
2.) quibble pants! i was going to draw him with clear skies and the. little purple bitch. but im scrapping that and im not really sure what to do with them. so i dont rlly have any ideas or notes on him, just this drawin. all i can say is he’s a chonky nerd but like. whats new.  
id also say this drawing is like. nearing a year old. im honestly not sure. just for context. not all of them are that old but this one is probs the oldest.
 
3.) this is honey biscuit’s mother, or at least one of the first designs for her. im not all that pleased with it atm. This version of her is a Burchell’s zebra. she’s a bright, young mare that ends up in a one night stand with timber slash, an illegal timber wolf hunter
 
4.) a lil doodle of honey biscuit, that was gonna be part of a dump of sketches and i just didnt think itd stand well on its own.  
so idk how many are familiar with honey’s personality (since its been a while and ive gained some followers since then), but to summarise - she’s an orphan zony that grew up in manehatten, with big dreams of becoming a big bridleway performer. once old enough to leave the orphanage, honey tries out for several auditions at several different theatres, big and small - but uh, well. she definitely has the passion, but it just was a little too much for stiff bridleway casters (and well, a zony, on the main cast of bridleway? audiences might not be receptive to that, surely not, no…)  
honey has to instead settle for backstage work at smaller theatre companies. Good, honest work, but not massive pay, and certainly not the place where she felt she could truly shine. Her confidence was definitely battered by the rejection.
 
5.) a meme. i uploaded this in a status.  
im sure the context is obvious. in reference to starlights baby killing tendancies.
 
6 and 7.) SO LIKE i had this idea that i never really did anything with. in g1, they had more ponies with cutie marks taking up more of their leg/body, and i just thought itd be interesting to try and incorporate it into the g4 main casts designs? i only got two done. rainbow has her lightning bolt extended and her cloud sorta spreading out in uh. dapple-y kinda pattern - while twilight has freckles resembling sparkles on her butt.
 
kinda no purpose i just thought it’d look cool.
 
8.) soft.  
earlier on rainbow has to take the lead bc twilight’s pretty inexperienced- but this aint rainbow’s first rodeo, so she guides twilight through it… until one day she realises she’s created a monster and twilight is the one getting her all flustered. no th-this isnt allowed im the great and intimidating rainbow dash- stop…. but don’t actually stop i kinda wanna see where this goes.
 
9.)  
“soooo, darling, you and twilight, hmm?”  
ok lets be cool, play dumb dash, play dumb  
“who’s twilight”  
not that dumb!
 
ive spoken about how twidash starts before: their relationship was incredibly casual (or at least, rainbow tried to keep it that way). it was a lot of sneaking to and from the castle in the late hours of the night, lots of keeping out of the public eye, etc etc. even the mane six werent “officially” told (but it was pretty obvious to all of them what was going on).
 
it takes them a very long and difficult time to get out o this casual stage. twilight found it very hard to recognise she had feelings, and was almost entirely oblivious (until idk, spike is probably the one to make her open her eyes). meanwhile, rainbow has always liked twilight in that way, right from when they met (her first sighting of twilight face down in a mud puddle. how romantic. how cute). - but she has issues expressing that.
 
this literally leaves the most infuriating couple possible. twilight just thinks theyre really REALLY close friends- and when she realises that hold up, its a bit more than that, she gets frustrated and confused by rainbow’s inability to respond to her “i love yous” and outright signs of romantic interest. Had she misread the situation? was it really just super close friendship? god why are things so weird and difficult
 
eainbow did like her, she just… can’t express it? it feels weird and awkward. she’s not a mushy person. she’d rather just kiss and make out and have fun instead of talk about these things.
 
eventually rainbow can admit it - because she wants to, and she loves twilight, and she doesnt want her to think she doesn’t. and they finally leave that weird casual sort of but not quite dating and then theyre gfs. then wives. then have kids. mwah.
