I’ve worked with stop motion for a long time and know the ins and outs more or less by heart. Plus it helps to eliminate flickers when you have Dragonframe.
 
This was a test animation so I plan on involving these toys more in the future. Perhaps with some custom made pony puppets of my own. Similar to the new stop motion series by Hasbro.

First of all, this is pretty nifty. The animation in quite fluid in comparison to allot which come off low fps and jerky. Second A+ For the lighting. One of the most jarring aspects to stopmotion is the lighting and it being filmed in an area where there isn’t a constant light source or they use an automatic camera that keeps playing with the exposure. This creates a flickering effect which coupled with low FPS exemplifies it x 11. Here however, you don’t have any of the amateurish issues and could be quite interesting to see more off. Robot Chicken shenanigans with ponies anyone?
