Let come what may, as the saying goes.
It might have more impact if the comic kept with the theme of Zephyr knowing full well he has issues but feeling unable to get out from under them. And the introduction of worse two-dimensional sleazeballs who exist just to be a mirror… I don’t know. I don’t like that kind of writing.

And even though I know how very far apart we are,
It helps to think we might be wishin’ on the same bright star.

It helps to think we’re sleeping underneath the same big sky.
I mean, hey, if he’s part of the Royal Guard now, then obviously he still retained some of that growth. It’s certainly a lot better than his Equestria Girls depiction basically being a full-on creeper.
