Quick reminder that Rarity absolutely loathes the idea of green hair on herself, yet put on the getup, green hair and all, just because she wanted to be with Spike.
….Also keep in mind(something I realized recently) that we really don’t know how old Spike is at this point. The Sweetie Belle episode with Rarity where Rarity tried to bond with his sister with kid stuff but it doesn’t work, implied that while the CMC and Spike’s designs haven’t changed, they were already getting into the pre-teen and teen phases.
