Let me get this straight. You are telling me right now that it’s ok to start the worst war this world has ever seen and kill millions of innocent people for racists reasons as long as there is someone who killed more?

The soviets murdered over 60 million people, and communist over 100 million to this very day. I rest my case.

All soldiers of the Wehrmacht sworn an oath on Hitler. The only reason they fought was because Hitler and his regime wanted them to.
Yes, the Red Army wasn’t really nice to us Germans, but we weren’t nice to them either, and we started that shit. Also, they were not involved in a genocide with more than 6 million casualties neither killed them over 20 million our citizens. And last but not least. The soviets defended themselves while the Wehrmacht tried to conquer Lebensraum.
You can say they were bad. That’s true. But at that time we Germans did worse. The most of us wouldn’t call anyone a hero who fought for the Wehrmacht. For us everyone who refused to fight for the Nazis or who was part of the German resistance is considered a hero.

They fought for the Wehrmacht, not the regime. And if put side by side, the red army is not any better.
