What if she and her husband co-produces the new Sailor Moon? Can you imagine Sailor Moon in the style…done by the guy who did Yu Yu Hakusho?!
Well, whatever, I’ll look it up along with many of my other animes on my waiting list. As long as this Sailor Moon has the Another Story arc, it won’t be boring.
I know. I don’t know how big its going to get. :O
First one was a animated sentai-style action-comedy-romance.
Second one was a live action action-drama-romance.
Third….comedy? Shonen? Sentai-style was already used. Maybe a mix of all three.
This was a corporate interference decision, the second one as I heard it. The first was to introduce a new princess, Cadence, for the sake of making new toys, but that honestly turned out pretty well because she was a new character and they had stuff to work with.
With Twilight, your exactly right. It makes no sense, at least it not being the last season. (We were sort of okay with Twilight becoming a princess at the very end of MLP cause it would of been thematic) At the end of S3 and still in the library in S4, it makes no sense.
speaking of sailor moon, it will get a new anime this year.
Who said anything about alicorns? I specified the tiara for Twilight. Duh.
What’s the alternative?
That MLP will become the Twilight Sparkle show? (No offense dude, but your username does kinda inspire contrived negativity)
The creators aren’t stupid, Twilight Sparkle isn’t Sailor Moon. If you checked Deviantart recently, she’s only the 4th or 5th most popular of the main 6, Fluttershy the most popular on deviantart and Rainbow Dash the most popular on youtube.
I have to say, Twilight Sparkle being a princess but remaining in Ponyville as the librarian does seem pretty ridiculous. I know this is a fantasy show about magical talking ponies, but even with this show, suspension of disbelief will only get you so far.
Also, no-one seems able to answer me this: if Twilight’s personality and life are not changing because of her transformation, then what’s the point of transforming her at all? This whole thing is just going to piss a bunch of people off.

I notice you and that SuperKlonoa fella keep going on about that, but honestly, is there a real basis for it? No offense, but it just kinda sounds like wishful thinking to me. :/
I would argue that if all 6 main characters are alicorns, it will make things even worse, and unfortunately that is the logical conclusion of transmogrifying one of the main characters in this way. It’s not just a matter of giving Rarity or Twilight wings and the ability to fly, but also EVERY one of the Mane 6 will have a unicorn’s horn and the ability to use magic. Not only that, but any pretense of the main characters representing the three pony races will be gone, because they will all represent the fourth race (alicorns), who Lauren Faust never even intended to be a separate race from the other three in the first place.
Imagine Pinkie Pie with the ability to fly and cast spells. She won’t just break the fourth wall– she’ll break the show!
And, honestly, they now have the excuse to start awakening the OTHER’S elements.
I mean quite frankly people…what were you expecting?! Her element is a frickin Tiara, of course she’d turn into a princess once it awakened. I’m just excited on what happens to the others once they start this trend.
Twilight a Princess only=Over powered Singular main character….bad and boring
