Mulberry is unsure if he can even speak, and honestly, isn’t exactly even sure what she wants to say.
“Grrrngh… What is it?” McClank says, seemingly not caring that he has a gun pointed at him. His voice is the same except for a slight gurgling ever syllable. Pretty surprising, considering he is missing the top part of his snout.
“Um… Thank you for the knife yesterday. I… Uh… Do you have a moment to speak? I have some questions.” Mulberry asks, still a little stunned.
He turns back to the anvil and slams away again saying, “I can work and talk at the same time. This better be quick.”

as for questions… she should ask if there’s some reason he needs to hurry, or does he just like working without distractions?
she might also ask if he’s aware what the mayor has been up to lately, with use of his adopted daughter as a vessel driving her insane, and bringing back the vengeful dead? is the blacksmith concerned about those shapes he’s making for the mayor, if the mayor has been secretly doing awful things? maybe they’re more dangerous than the blacksmith has been led to believe.
she could ask what he thinks of antoine’s condition, and if he knows him.
can’t really think of any other questions.
