Bisexuals being marginalized by the “LGBT” community is well documented, and I, myself, have faced plenty of stigma for being a bisexual male. “Not the right kind of bisexual” being a phrase I’ve had leveled against me more than a few times by my supposed “allies.”

Supporting the “LGBT” movement as a bisexual is self-destructive, given that the movement treats bisexuals as disposable chaff at every opportunity. For example, catapulting the belief that bisexuality is not a legitimate sexuality, but rather a transitional phase, during the early years of the Gay Liberation movement.
 
Frankly, bisexuals who are all on board with the “LGBT” movement are either not in-the-know of the movement’s history with relation to bisexuals, or have a case of Stockholm syndrome.

Being a bisexual, hell no there aren’t legitimate reasons to oppose the LGBT movement. Saying otherwise would be self-destructive at best.

Being non-binary, you can cry me a river. Almost nobody is mad about bisexuals anymore, and I bet you personally faced little to no discrimination from within the LGBT community about that. All over Twitter, you can find overwhelming support for bisexual people from all corners of LGBT except from lesbians, who provide tacit approval so long as bi people don’t “erase” the name lesbian, whatever that’s supposed to mean.

Yup, sadly this is old news.

I can’t even begin to comprehend as to how or why this is getting downvotes. If showing pride and care for marginalized groups is frowned upon, yet racist jokes are left untouched, then we have a major problem on our hands within our community, especially during these troubling times.
 
A bit ironic, too, considering that bronies are ostracized by nearly everyone on the internet.
