Demiboy/demigirl is when someone feels like they partially identify with one gender but not all the way. This usually comes about in one of two ways. Either people sometimes feel like they have a gender (boy in this case) and other times feel detached from gender (someone like this might instead identify as genderfluid, but as always it’s up to the individual how they interpret their gender), or they feel like they kinda lean towards a gender without feeling like it 100% fits.
I’m not demi, though my ex was a demigirl, so I speak with secondhand experience only and it may not be a perfect explanation lol
