Anansi, as he is imprisoned in the Everfree Forest, chooses to entertain himself in a myriad of ways but his favorite is to use his memory manipulation abilities to mess with a stalk lost ponies. He’d take their memories of certain things just to see how lost and panicked they’d get before giving up.
 
Then he’d start all over, erasing their memories once again.
 
While he hates being trapped, he loves stalking prey and using his powers freely. There is little most can do since he can easily erase the memories of those who escape and Discord is generally absent from his life.
