and yet still here we are, celebrating 9 seasons of pony. I think its far from done, at least from fandoms side

Equestria girls is dead. Its never coming back and neither is mlp. Its over and done. Everything comes to an end, get over it and move on. I loved what lil i saw of it, rainbow rocks especially, and i love Suneet Shimmer. But her time is done. Hasbro will never return to thse properties except to give tghis abomination called pony life. Its teen titans go all over again.

Sonic Ranger doesn’t seem to handle the concept of “letting go”, and he doesn’t seem capable of listening.

seriously though my feeling on it is I think that EqG ended just as the animation was starting to really go somewhere if the shorts were anything to go off of - they were really starting to get a hang on animating humans and it was pretty damn good and fluid
 
at least we have Pencils’ comics to hold us over, and who knows maybe G5 will have its own EqG equivalent

I would like more Equestria Girls because there’s so many opportunities that haven’t been taken (Meeting Discord, The Wonderbolts, Sunset’s human counterpart, etc) all of which would be entertaining. But looking who’s posting this, yeah, Sonic Ranger wants more feet screencaps to spam us with. Also I agree, the 5-minute short format is kind of a mis-step, I would prefer it if they spent their time making more 20-40 minute specials every once in a while instead.
