Any time I hear people complain about Luna I just think “Wow you probably either never dealt with depression or drove someone that was dealing with it further into that headspace.” She’s a textbook case of severe, self-harming level depression. She has a hormone imbalance that cause severe feelings of apathy, loneliness, and emptiness followed by bowts of extreme sorrow, in her case targeted at herself. That’s why people love her so much, we see our own pain in her and thus the hope that we can get a handle on it instead of slipping further and further until we inevitably kill ourselves.
