This is actually reminding me of a Garfield and Friends short.
 
The basics are Garfield’s hanging on a screen door complaining about how bored he is, then wishes for something to happen. Immediately, Jon Arbuckle opens the door, slamming Garfield into the brick wall, and, holding a tray of lasagna, calls out to him. Then, when Garfield doesn’t come, Jon goes back inside, wondering why. Then, after the screen door slowly closes, Garfield slides down the screen saying, “I’m in pain. I’m in real pain here. Pain, pain, pain, pain, pain.”
