Uranium-238 (99% of all uranium) has a half-life of over 4 billion years and is a weak α (alpha) radition emitter which gets stopped by a few centimeters of air, a sheet of paper of even skin. There is literally zero risk of radiation unless you swallow it and even then the chemical toxicity of uranium (it’s a heavy metal) is more dangerous than its radiological toxicity.
