I don’t see any objectivity here tbh quite the opposite actually narrative-driven and at the same time fortune telling events that never happened. The true question is what DIDNT discord made them do…
tell me what horrible deed discord had them do that they wouldn’t do themselves? the mean ol discord corrupted these 3 poor innocent souls and had them commit actions they wouldnt do themselves right, im being very objective here

I agree, and I don’t think it’s that unpopular, it’s just people who are mad about what happened in the finale are common on this site.
Yeah unpopular opinion discord doesn’t owe chrysalis tirek and cozy glow a damn thing considering they would try to take over EQ by themselves anyways as they have before and they have harmed him and his friends even before season 9
Not saying he needed to be perfect. I’m just saying, at this point, he should at least know better.

I get what you’re saying, but Discord isn’t perfect.
At least Tirek didn’t disguise himself as someone else, so what Discord did was even more underhanded. Also, that was also Discord’s own fault. Discord could’ve said no to Tirek’s deal. Instead, he accepted, meaning he also accepted the responsibility and consequences of helping Tirek.

Well, Tirek used him as his personal puppet and can you remember the last time he apologized for that? I myself honestly can’t.

He only apologized for making a big mess, not using three villains as his own personal puppets.
Well, he did apologize to Twilight’s friends at the start of The Ending of the End Part 2. You can see the scene for yourself. He said sorry and it made so much sense to him that Twilight gains confidence after defeating her worst enemies and promised to make up for what he did.

yeah he’s a lying piece of shit. he had a perfect betrayal and redemption arc in season 4. this was just rushed and insulting
In that case, he should show legitimate regret for this plan of his and be turned to stone as well. And, no, he never apologized for coming up with the plan in the first place. And the only time he did show regret was when he was getting humiliated by the villains.

That’s assuming that aside from morals changing on his part, him suggesting that possibly being an admission that he deserved to be turned into stone the first time, that it was ever about morals in and of itself, as opposed to “it’s not fun to do that, and I’m pissed off that it happened to me.”
There’s multiple angles in which you can reconcile that as being in-character for him, including “but for you, I’ll make an exception.”
