Blinkyt11 had a neat theory about how she was originally intended to be an alicorn during the production run, but the higher-ups decided against it at the last minute and Pony Life was delayed so they could change the animation (and add that “I’m just a simple unicorn” line)
 
But she’s just straight-up flying here, wing flaps included. She’s just mysteriously floating in the next scene

Hopefully the animators will catch on. I like the show but there are these little mistakes the show does like the Feeling Good as Hell song. They need to double check their product more often.

I get the feeling Potion Nova isn’t who she says she is.
It would explain how she sometimes has wings and sometimes does not, depending on how magical she’s currently being.
 
Saw the episodes. I see the “mistake” of her having wings seems to happen more frequently.

Her “Royal Canterlot Voice” sounds a bit like Princess Celestia. If it’s Nicole Oliver, it’d be so interesting to see her go from a royal, elegant sounding voice in Celestia to a more bubbly, cheerful voice in Potion Nova
 
I have noticed Nicole Oliver in her voice too. I have seen a post suggesting that was Kelly Sheridan though

Is it just me, or does Potion Nova’s serious voice sound a little like Princess Celestia as a warrior? I can’t be the only one who hears that.
