Here here!
I forgot about those, one of the few things I have on hide
There’s absolutely nothing shameful for the charity pack side, to be honest.
I can agree with that.
Your disappointment comes from having unrealistic standards about humanity combined with your own ideals not being grounded in reality.
Learn that perfection does not exist and embrance humanity’s faults, instead of trying to fight against the human nature.
What they want to say is.
@Dsiak
The shameful part is the existence of the
jokes
and people who want to make them, not the freedom to say it. People are free to make the art, and packs like the one in question, and I am free to think poorly of them.Even if it becomes a regular thing - “edgelords for good” or something like that, not just a one-off chance to stick it to the man - I can still be disappointed in that state of affairs, about what content people desire.
By the way, if talking about free speech, topics I think are distasteful (like Aryanne, Luft-what’s-her-name, fluffy pony abuse, etc.) are in my usual browsing-filter, because they’re protected by Rule 4. I am not free to speak against them in comments or in messages to users.
It’s a legit and cheap way to have a website without all the headache of having a website. You can interact with the boomers, get way more exposure than a regular website, host videos and pictures for free and you can hire some employee’s daughter to manage the page for less than minimum wage.

I see where you are coming from, if I where to host an “”“island of fun””” for billionaires it doesn’t matter what I use the money for, the end doesn’t justify the horrible mean I employed.
But I have to disagree that what was done is shameful. It is just an edgy joke. I do believe that if someone is so damaged to the point of being upset over a joke, then the problem is the person. I would like to hear your take on the matter, why do you call it shameful?
Not really. 4chan is often guilty of similar.
Not that trying to stop charitable donations is okay, but 4chan’s history means they can’t claim the moral high ground on anything at this point.
It automatically makes them better people than the chucklefucks that tried to take down the charity.
Or the ones that try to destroy this site via patreon attack.
This exactly.
For a lot of the people involved, this just means they like horses more than they like jews.
Or they hate both but they donated a few bucks because they thought supporting the charity would “trigger the SJWs”
I’m glad that people donated but it doesn’t automatically make them good people.
This, 100%
You can support the right to free speech, even if you don’t support the ideas that the group being suppressed believe. Free speech also exists to protect unpopular speech, you wouldn’t need to defend free speech if it was something most people found agreeable.
There is nothing shameful about fighting for free speech.

Well, I wouldn’t call the cancelers “good guys”, but neither does this act make the propaganda-spreaders “good guys” either. You know, like how Philip Morris did a lot of charity and community work but continued to produce cancer sticks.
It’s not a shame to help a horse. It’s a shame what happened to achieve it.
Ew, why people still use fucking facebook in 2020?
We will probably have to wait until she is up for adoption. That’s when they make her profile. There is a new video with her on their facebook page, but it’s not loading for me.
she needs some food and hugs.
also where did she come from? (more specific than 4chan i mean)
The worst thing about that is the fact they think they’re the “good guys”.
I’m glad how those horse could be helped by the fandom regardless of the cruel sabotage attempts, and that’s the only thing that should matters.
I’m not crying you are crying.

But let’s not forget the real heroes: the virtue signalling derpi mods who worked tirelessly to curtail the proliferation of offensive cartoon ponies. Let’s here it for them!
Ahh, you guys are great! Cheers and Godspeed. I thought it was only about the /derpi/ drama.
/mlp/ has been prooven to be a better place (again?).
