As it turns out, the inside of the house of two alchemists is a lot less surprising that Flurry Heart was expecting.
When Potion Nova returned the Alicorn Amulet to Zecora, she wasted no time returning it to a box and deciding that it must be kept in a more secure location. As Zecora handles the Alicorn Amulet, Potion Nova wasted no time when it came to infodumping about it to Flurry Heart.

“Pretty interesting stuff, actually! Apparently there was this mare called Trixie- oh you know her? Cool- anyways, she got her hooves on this thing and as it turns out it’s a really cool artifact that corrupts the magic and mind of its users and only the user can take it off which makes it pretty dangerous actually. Rumor has it that it might come from SOOO many moons ago that it’s as old as when King Sombra ruled the Crystal Empire, how cool is that!? Imagine being THAT old- I mean, Celestia and Luna don’t have to, but- you know what I mean! Mama put a potion over it so that it couldn’t be touched but I think the potion wore off after like 20-ish years or however long ago that Trixie pony had it.”

“… Wait, what do you mean it gave somepony enough power to blow an Alicorn’s horn off!?”
