A music video of what song?
True, but in recent years, Hasbro has been doing a thing called “cross-pollination.” It means ideas, story elements, characters traits, especially good ones from one continuity get intergrated/added into others. Take for instance, Knockout from Transformers Prime. His character proved popular, he was added into the G1 IDW continuity, barely changed at all from is Aligned counterpart. The idea of mute Bumblebee originally from the movies, has been used in some form or other in later series, like Prime and Cyberverse.
Besides, this isn’t the “original” G1 Arcee that we knew from the G1 cartoon and movie. This is IDW’s own version based on that G1 character. Transformers have many, many continuities that is impossible to individualy categorize each of them but we have a thing called “Continuity Families” which are similar themed continuities, not necessarily in-continuity with each other, grouped into one category. The G1 american cartoon, the Japanese G1 anime sequels and spin-offs, the G1 IDW comics, the G1 Dreamwave comics are all part of the G1 family of continuity because they’re based on the G1 series but are not necessarily in-continuity with each other.
Well that wasn’t the Cyberverse Arcee. That was the original G1 Arcee.
Also she looks a bit plumper than usual, which might be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your tastes. :)
Edited because: better wording
