Re-introducing Warverse with a slight revamp of the characters and ships! You’re probably wondering why Cadence’s kid isn’t in this picture like they were in the old version, and that’s because I have different plans for them!

On the left, we have Persephone, daughter of Trouble Shoes, Big Mac, and Luna. Not much is known about the mysterious royal, as the royal children don’t live in the castle to protect them. What those closest do know, though, is she’s a big sweet softie who loves to give bear-hugs to anyone she sees. Despite her size (just taller than Celestia, and almost as muscular as Rockhoof), she’s quite the girly-girl and loves to adorn herself in jewelry and fine clothing… if she has access to it. She inherited her Da’s (Troubleshoes’) clumsy nature, unfortunately, but she doesn’t let it hold her back. Despite being a pegasus, she inherited magical abilities; mainly ones that allow her to conduct fairly strong magic with no horn. Her talent is more of a patronage, and she’s seen as a fertility patron, both for ponies and the lands. When she walks, it’s almost guaranteed that flowers will bloom there, regardless of the soil type beforehoof.

Her parents are an odd trio, but their story isn’t terribly complicated. When tensions arose between the Equestrian population and the Henine population, both Celestia and Luna were under pressure to produce heirs worthy of taking the throne should something happen to the beloved leaders. Under a fairly strict time restraint, they chose ones they deemed worthy, and Luna chose the quiet yet strong brother of Applejack, Big Mac.

They had met on several occasions before, but hadn’t been close, however that changed quickly. They fell in love, and tried for an heir… which failed. After many failed attempts, they consulted the counsel, who decided Big Mac was unworthy to sire the heir. This broke Luna’s heart, so she set a plan into motion of retrieving another strong pony to sire the heir… for the most part. Troubleshoes was big, strong, and quiet, much like Big Mac.

It was clear that Troubleshoes being the sire had worked, but it wasn’t in the way the elites had expected; Luna created a spell that would allow Big Mac’s genes to play a part in their child, so the child would have three parents instead of two. Troubleshoes was never intended to be a permanent part of the family, and he’s not- he still lives in the Earth Pony tribe with his daughter, though he’s on close friendship terms with both Luna and Big Mac and is invited to visit whenever he desires.

On the right, we have Zander, son of Nurse Redheart and Celestia. He’s a much more mellow counterpart to his cousin, often maintaining the more “regal” appearance when out in public. Despite his more stuffed-noble attitude, he is very gentle and tries to show his worth. His “sire”, Redheart, is a normal pony; not big and strong like Troubleshoes or Big Mac, not holding any title… just a nurse. It gives him a bit of issue regarding if he’s fit to rule, though no one else seems to think that way except him. Much like Persephone, he lives elsewhere, unbeknownst to the public. He doesn’t live in the palace, and doesn’t have a close relationship with his mother’s family.

Nurse Redheart and Celestia are a bit more on the scandelous side when it comes to how Zander came to be. During the early days of the tension, Celestia managed to accidentally wind up in a bit of a scuffle with the Griffon leader, and had to be treated for her wounds. None other than Nurse Redheart tended to her, and the two sparked a bit more than a friendship. Celestia fell in love for the first time in centuries; Redheart’s gentle nature, but her willingness to be blunt and up front was more than charming for the Empress of the Sun. Redheart was flattered, and when the pressure to produce an heir fell on Celestia’s shoulders, she knew exactly who she wanted to choose as a wife.

Redheart continued her duties as a nurse, much to Celestia’s worry, but there wasn’t much the Empress could do about the stubborn mare. So while Celestia carried Zander, Redheart was mostly away during the day but would return at night.

He grew up closer to Celestia, but he still is very close to both of his parents, even if he’s not permitted at the castle all the time.

TL;DR: Persephone is a magic baby, Zander is a baby born from a convinent scandal
