I know I’m a bit late to reply, but when looking at those posts you always need to check the currency. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a stupidly high price for just a skin, but not exactly what I would describe as a full game price (unless it is on sale).
Depends on the currency, I guess. In Poland, for this amount of money, you can get a few days’ worth of groceries or a decent piece of clothing, so…

There’s a bit more to the situation then that. Also, frankly those don’t really go against what we’ve seen of them in the show.
Also, you forget Rarity kicked a manticore in the face, kung-fu kicked Applejack, punched Changelings, and almost picked a fight with teenage dragons. Chick is tougher then you think.
The one with Cheerilee’s wrestling sister, I believe. I liked that one.
Yes, it’s from IDW; one of Jay Fosgitt’s comics, if I’m not mistaken. And yeah, the pricing can cause a headache.
