After Twilight was transferred out of Crystal Prep, a new girl arrived: Starlight Glimmer. She promised great reforms to the student body and to show their equal prowess at everything, she coordinated an equal grading system across the board to all students. This ended badly as the average steadily dropped till the entire student body received an F. Starlight was driven off by angry students and so she transferred away to try again somewhere else. Upon arriving at CHS she found Twilight Sparkle and her friends to be an affront to ideology. They shined a light through the school that Starlight felt pushed people further apart. Everyone else were moth’s burning themselves trying to reach that flame. She would never be able to convince this student body of her equal ideology while those seven were around. She needed to remove them.

Gotcha.
The snippets I did find for the Shadow Seven was their membership and what element/geode they represented. I found that from deviantart. I didn’t see anything else, unless the info was in another site.
Starlight’s backstory is pretty cool.
The general idea behind how they get their powers and what each member can do has been established. I did write small snippets for each one. Starlight here was a transfer student from Crystal Prep after something she caused there ended disasterously.
