Description
Mulberry puts the rope protection spell around the door, and then looks for something that she could use to barricade it. That way she can be protected both physically and magically.
Unfortunately there doesn’t really seem to be anything that could do the job in the courtyard. The closest thing Mulberry finds is a piece of the rotting benches, but the mare thinks that even she could snap this if she tried hard enough. The mare gets the idea of maybe pushing the statue in front of the door, but it’s bolted down with thick, slightly rusty iron screws. If the entire statue is made of metal she isn’t sure she could move it anyway.
Mulberry looks up into the sky, but she can’t see the sun at all through the fog or the hills around her. It’s not night, but it’s getting close.
