Here’s a pretty simple head-canon that I wanted to draw for a long while now. About how Vinyl is mute.

The idea for it came from how she never had a spoken line in the show (she originally had in Slice of Life but it was changed), and she also had a cameo in Pony Life where she also didn’t speek. What I read up, she did have spoken lines in the comics, but it always been a mix bag for me what I take as canon from the comics, sooooo…

Anywho, not much else to add just some small side notes for some of the drawings:

3-7. Originally I more alluded to what Vinyl wrote, but in the end I deciceded to be a bit more coy about.;)

8-10. Vinyl as a filly worked out a method for simple ‘yes’ and ‘no’ questions. Quick stomps with both front hooves is ‘no’, slow stomps with one hoof is ‘yes’ (also the pony with filly Vinyl is Long Play, her brother from the comics. Told you it’s a mixed bag^^’’’’).

She also has other methods of communication, I just highlighted these.

Btw, originally didn’t really wanted to add dialogue but some of the drawings didn’t really worked without it. And in opposite the last drawing had one, but I removed it cos it doesn’t really needed it. It just them having a conversation on a lazy day.

On a side note also, I missed drawings these two.^^
