That's what they are doing, but my point was no matter what they do, some will be disapointed.
Heck, some G1 MLP fans think G4/FIM is a "terrible" show too, and they oftentimes say it's for the same "reasons" you hate P.L. So honestly whether any Pony show is "good or bad," is up to the individual.

Soooo are you saying P.L. is bad, because it's not like FIM, or because it is being similar to FIM?
And honestly, would you really accept P.L. even with an entirely different cast?
Personally, I'd love G5 to be different, and have some new characters, but have some "nods" to past MLP gens, like the 2012 TMNT show did, and such. Like maybe a Derpy cameo, or something, or new versions to old villains. (Like the Penguin guy from G1, but make him a li'l different.)
