Description

The Queen of Swords is a symbol of direct communication, independence, and unbiased judgement; reversed, it means over-emotional or being cold-hearted. I chose the Sphinx for this one because… well, honestly it’s mostly because I love this riddle kitty. She does fit the reversed card better than the upright. She is definitely independent, though, and it could be argued that her methodology is rather unbiased – answer a riddle correctly or pass a trial and win or answer wrong and lose.

She sits on a throne with two swords at her back, symbolic of her sharp intellect and sense of balance. She also sits in a library, a sign of her vast stores of knowledge. She smiles, cunning but also eager to match her wits against you.

What a interesting symbolic you have with this. I dont know what card game all this are, but i know that i always find the Sphinx amazing interesting. ^^

You got your fact right that sphinxes is full of knowledge, balance and wisedom. Placing her in a library was a great choice, even if om sure she dont need weapons for take care of her guests. For as we know, they use their minds instead of their muscles to defeat their enemies. ^^
