So yeah, Mirror Pool lore is that DNA has to touch the water to create a clone. In the show she dipped her hoof in to pull one out, but this time it was a tear (and took a little longer to come out on its own accord).  
Now you might be wondering “what’s the clone going to do?!” Well, that’s where this fanfiction (I wrote some time go) comes into play. It’s only one chapter long at the moment (with a second half-done), but will follow the clone with more of an introspective/noire style. Don’t expect regular updates.
