Description

Talk about a broken Aesop. I hope that at least someone at DHX realizes how contradictory the “moral” of this episode is with what ultimately happens to Twilight.

That doesn’t really contradict the message. The reason why the mane six refused their destinies was because they were unhappy with them. If the moral was that all destiny was bad, then they would’ve gotten rid of their cutie marks entirely. As long as Twilight is okay with being a princess, there’s really no harm.

Yeah, this is MLP alright. I really wish theyd stop trying to get across messages, because every time they try they fuck up.

Destiny gets mishandled, blame gets misappropriated, characters learn stupid lessons or betray other characters, sometimes lying for selfih reasons is a sin and sometimes its fine, sometimes protagonists get off from things just because they are protagonists.

Fuck me. Sesame Street has a better moral compass than this show.

If you are onto something, then maybe they ARE setting up making her wingless again with referring back to this. Just a possibility.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if Twilight uses the change destiny spell in Season 4 to turn herself back into a non-princess unicorn, after rejecting the princess life?

@Star Cavalcade
Twilight looked bored because she was hoping to spend some quality time with her beloved emntor not stand around for hours on end shaking hoofes with people she doesn’t know. And remember, it turned out that Celestia wanted the same.
Star Cavalcade

Yeah, that annoyed me as well. Twilight never had any regal asperations and looked bored out of her mind during all the royal greetings during Best Night Ever.
