Born in Canterlot, he moved to Ponyville when his baby sister was born.

Aglow is a teenage pony-dragon hybrid with little to none dragon attitude. He is calm, collected and mature for his age. He prefers solitude and feels a little cornered in great groups of ponies; he isn’t made for the spotlight. Even if ponies usually fear him, he is a kind hearted boy that will drop what he is doing to help others.
He is protective of his family and can get a little too physical when they are threatened; Spike usually helps him calm down.

His roar, different from his normal calm voice, is loud as a full grown dragon’s. When he roars his magic (unconsciously) boosts the sound, fivefold its power and creating sound waves strong enough to shatter glass and shuck the grown causing some minor earthquakes.
Most the usage of his magic is physical boosters, but he has some ability to levitate and teleport objects, (he cannot teleport nor levitate living things, including him).

His appearance has caused most doctors and physicians quite a nightmare and fascination; from the atrophied “thumbs” on his hind legs to the fact his wings are developing under his skin is quite a riddle. His wannabe wings cause him pain from time to time, what usually gets him grumpy and goes into isolation worrying Rarity.
He has only one horn on the left side of his face.

Aglow doesn’t know his talent, but he is happy enough to be around his mother helping her find gems and protecting her from any danger she could encounter. He is a total momma’s boy.
They share a deep and strong relationship, and while Rarity can be a little eccentric and loud, Aglow loves her antics. Rarity can always rely on him and she appreciates the silent, constant and comforting feeling her son gives her.
Aglow and Spike on the other hoof are quite comical with their bond. Aglow wants Spike to take things more seriously while Spike wants his son to act more his age and have fun, find a marefriend or get in trouble as most teenagers do. Rarity finds them adorable when they “fight” over dumb stuff.

Aglow and Ruby are close as skin and bones. Aglow would straight out murder anypony who dares to look at his little sister funny, and has no remorse whatsoever to be an overprotective mother hen to his little sister. Aglow is Ruby’s favorite pony in the whole world.

Fun facts:
His first roar got half of his classmates into the hospital. No pony got deaf thank goodness.
Aglow changed school thrice, mostly because of roaring incidents.
Aglow and his cousin Vecto were quite close when young.
His claws are not retractable. Rarity hates when he sees claw marks on the wooden floor.
Aglow sat on Ruby when she was a baby to calm her down, like a momma hen.
He loves eating meat, and learnt to hunt with his dad. He perfected his hunt with his babysitter, Delfina Shores.
When he was little and learnt to climb he got stuck in trees several times, to Spike’s amusement.
He is deeply afraid of Fluttershy (Yes… yes he is).
Ponies think he is rude and mean because of his resting brooding look; he is just uncomfortable with his growing wings.

His color scheme is:
He is Grey-ish much like his mother’s and Grand Dad’s coat. His Mane comes from Rarity’s, and his horn and claws are Spike’s purple themed.
