White Night has an autistic little sister. Her name is Nightlight. She has sometimes been a nightmare to raise – but somehow, she’s been his dream come true!
It’s been said it takes a village to raise a child. White Night knows this very well. Nightlight is one of the most powerful unicorns. He rivals her powers, but even he has a hard time restraining her. Years ago, back before she was born, he made friends with the rulers of the Starpony Kingdom. His best friends have given both him and his sister the support they need.
White Night has poured his heart into raising Nightlight. But he has never been alone. He values the help of his friends – and this is the value he’s been teaching his little sister.

He’s definitely been a light for her life. Before he knows it, she will be a guiding light for him, too.
Nightlight might be the highlight of White Night’s life.
Their family name is actually Guidelight.
[starts singing] “He taught me how to fly a kite~”
“So your family might be the Nights.”
“Quite right.”

“White Knight?”
“No – ‘White Night’ as in a night that never quite becomes dark.”
“Are you White Knight?”
“No I’m White Light”
“So is this White Night?”
“No it’s Light Night.”
“Oh okay, nighty night~”
I myself wonder how many children might get too confused. In many stories, I might have the tongue twister arise as a gag – to help readers understand the difference.
Nightlight can be dangerous, but this is mainly because she has a lot of power that she isn’t quite ready for. (She is one of the most gifted unicorns.) If she does cause serious harm, she feels terribly ashamed afterward (as per the picture).
Her brother has great shielding powers that can contain most of his sister’s power bursts. He might be able to isolate her inside a safety bubble. As for cuddly things, Nightlight has her cuddly brother and her favorite book. She also has a baby dragon (named Phoenix). As for stuffed animals, I haven’t quite made my mind on what she might have.

By the way, my work takes place in a completely different world. It doesn’t even exist in the same imagination as FIM.
In the meantime, please don’t use my characters without my permission. Unlike FIM, my work is still in the development stages.
oh, you’re making a series based on Nightlight? That’s lovely! Maybe one of these days I’ll write a story and add your characters and their hometown in a couple of chapters.
For my own pony series, I’m building my own Patreon page, which is under construction. I’ve been raising money to pay for art commissions, so that I can have great concept art.
Here is my summary: Nightlight is an autistic unicorn, in training to become a princess. She must learn how to be a friend – and build a world of friendship. With the right attitude, Nightlight finds that autism is not her limiting factor. Anyone can learn how to connect with others. Moreover, she learns that social skills are not as natural as they’re cracked up to be.
what can I say? I do what I can to show my love and support to the autistic.
I actually don’t have a sister. This design is based on my own pony series – about an autistic mare being trained to be a princess.
However, your words mean a lot to those who do have an autistic sister – and have a loving relationship with her!
