I’ve always liked the more forward-pointing horns; it calls to mind some of the more traditional (especially heraldic) depictions of unicorns:

However, forward-swept horns are, to my knowledge, absent from the animal kingdom to keep dueling males from instantly killing each other (and you just know unicorns would joust with those things). I suppose that’s only an issue if one wants “realism” mixed in with one’s magical rainbow horses.
