I like it, and I’d probably like it even better had Logitech gotten their crap together when they designed my gamepad (F510, which doesn’t appear to be supported by any Steam games I own).

Doesn’t bother me except when I accidentally press the button and have to wait a minute to get out of it. Though it’s nice to have what is essentially a console mode for PCs, as some people just like to use controllers for everything and it opens up PC gaming as an avenue.
