Fluttershy finally have a episode where her kindness is emphasized and her assertiveness done right.
Pinkie Pie got a little more depth than just a party animal with only “FUN FUN FUN” in mind.
Rarity is more sister-like with Sweetie Belle.
Can’t think of any changes about Applejack.
This is just my opinion.
HEY! That only happened once, she learned it there.
@Grieffon
Really, Twi didn’t learn anything, she got acknowledgment for what she learned.
She being able to make everything right again and complete that spell was the ultimate proof that she understood the magic of friendship fully, something not even starswirl the bearded was able to. Yeah, our Twilley is that great.
Fluttershy didn’t get any kinder, i think.
Rarity was just showing what she learned on Sisterhooves social, if anything, she got worse (poor sweetie :p).
“Gag?”
Um, how about literally facing her fears and trying against her self doubt? How about not freaking out at the smallest thing?
Drop your November 2010 headcanon of what alicorns are. Wake up and smell the coffee. Twilight was destined for great things from the day she was made Celestia’s favorite student. She did the thing even one of her idols couldn’t: understand friendship.
Sisterhooves social is just the beginning. Sleepless in Ponyville continued that. She doesn’t have an episode this season, so there’s not much else to say about her character development.
Yeah, she didn’t really develop at all this season save for the title and wings.
Writing Twilight for S1: OCD is a good character flaw to use, as is her obsession with pleasing Princess Celestia
Writing Twilight for S2: She’s a bit more confident than she was, and her OCD has been reduced a bit
Writing Twilight for S3: See above but add wings.
Gag.
Necessarily?
Also true.
Twilight can now stay calm and think of working solutions instead of having mental breakdowns and destroying the town.
At least that’s how I understood her episode.
More or less agree on the rest of the explanations.
