What if there was no pony afterlife? What if Twilight’s entire purpose was to be killed so that she could CREATE a pony afterlife, not just for herself but for all ponies, who had either already died and were ‘sleeping’ or eventually would die?
 
What if Equestria itself is an afterlife, with Twilight’s new world being an afterlife embedded within it, and Twilight eventually needing a student of her own to create another embedded afterlife, thus perpetuating the cycle?
 
What if Twilight decides to not perpetuate the cycle, but to break it?

Kind of don’t like how quickly she got into it though. All of a sudden she knows how to fly perfectly fine and everypony’s bowing to her, as if a new princess coming out of nowhere isn’t cause for alarm. I used to laugh at those accusations of Twilight being a Mary Sue, but now… Those accusations aren’t entirely unfounded.
