I’m realizing now that Cherry Blossom is a regular pony in fact days that aren’t really about her lol
 
Starfire is a bit of a germaphobe and believes that he can feel dirt and grime on him, even if it’s not visible to the naked eye. He claims that he can feel filth on him, no matter if he’s touched a piece of unwashed fruit or stepped in mud. Because of this, he’s very organized, cleanly, and washes his hooves as often as he can. For him, one of the worst parts of travelling all over Equestria and beyond is when creatures touch him when during greetings or giving him something. And he tries to carry on the conversation politely, wondering when he can scamper off to clean himself.

Fun fact for you: because of this pandemic and my high-functioning anxiety, I have also developed this ability to “feel” germs on my hands, especially when I go somewhere public (like stores, restaurants, etc) or a messy house. And hand sanitizer doesn’t fix the problem for me, I HAVE to wash them with soap and water in order to feel clean again. So poor Starfire picked up one of my many problems XD
