Also realized,to be precise ,this is not a prison cell,this is a playroom,presumably for the inmates kid when they come to visit at the prison parlor

Creating a child-friendly place in a penitentiary unit improves the child’s perception of the prison and provides greater comfort in this difficult situation. It is important to create a pleasant atmosphere and conditions as close to normal as possible. The new version of the visiting room, with a place for family meetings of prisoners with their children, was reported by the Director of the Correctional Facility in Kraków-Nowa Huta, Maj. Mariusz Michalik to the Competition in the Plebiscite organized by the City of Krakow for the “Family-friendly Place with Children”. The plebiscite shows and promotes solutions that meet the needs of Krakow families with children of all ages. It is carried out as part of the campaign “Krakow puts on family” under the honorary patronage of the President of Krakow.

I can feel sadness when I look at this image. Is the most child-friendly place in Poland really a prison? Who was the painter who painted those walls and the ponies (and other characters, is that Pumbaa?). Did he like the job? Has he ever watched the show? I can imagine those walls, 20-30 years from now, with faded and peeling paint, memories of a long-gone era. Kids who have no idea who those characters are. Either someone repaints the walls, or the place is abandoned and a 100 years from now you can find pieces of the walls in a pile of rubble, with parts of ponies on them and no one knows what they’re about.
